Membrane Filter Press Introduction
The membrane filter press by the filter plates through external pressure to form a closed chamber. Its pressure range is 0.8-1.6MPa. Suitable for sticky material and material with strict requirement for filter cake moisture content. The membrane filter press is considered to be an alternative upgrade device to the ordinary chamber filter press. It uses automatic pressure, automatic pull plate, program control quick opening and other functions. Membrane filter press can work continuously by operating the buttons on the control panel.
Membrane filter plates have a chamber below the drainage surface that may be inflated. The common method use is water pressure, which is generated by pumping into the squeeze cavity to inflate the face of the plate against the filter cake. Air may also be used. Membrane plates are used to reduce the cake moisture content or shorten the filtration cycle time.
