Membrane Filter Press Introduction 

The membrane filter press by the filter plates through external pressure to form a closed chamber. Under the action of the feeding pump, solid-liquid separation is realized by filtering medium filter cloth. The pressure of the membrane filter plate has two pressing options, air and water. Its pressure range is 0.8-1.6MPa. The secondary press is achieved by compressed air or high pressure water, further reducing the moisture content of filter cake and thereby reducing energy consumption. Suitable for sticky material and material with strict requirement for filter cake moisture content. The membrane filter press is considered to be an alternative upgrade device to the ordinary chamber filter press. It uses automatic pressure, automatic pull plate, program control quick opening and other functions. Membrane filter press can work continuously by operating the buttons on the control panel.

Membrane filter plates have a chamber below the drainage surface that may be inflated. The common method use is water pressure, which is generated by pumping into the squeeze cavity to inflate the face of the plate against the filter cake. Air may also be used. Membrane plates are used to reduce the cake moisture content or shorten the filtration cycle time.
