What is Membrane Filter Press?
Membrane filter press is different from other filter press types. Its filter press plates consist of a membrane filter plate and chamber filter plate. Especially the membrane plate is hollow and has a chamber that can be inflated. Normally it is inflated by compressed air or high-pressure water so that the filter cakes can be secondarily squeezed to reduce the cake moisture, shorten the filtration cycle and decrease the running cost. It's widely used for various industries, especially suitable for materials that are difficult to be filtered.
