Automatic Filter Press Introduction 

The automatic filter press is used for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions with good separation effect and convenient use. It is suitable for large filtration industry and requires high automation or centralized control. The filtration pressure is about 0.6-1.5 MPa. The whole machine is designed and manufactured with the integration of machine, electricity and hydraulic, which can realize automatic pressing, filtering, pressing, loosening, pulling plate and other processes. Manual control valve and PLC control unloading are adopted. It has the characteristics of high automation, large production capacity, low liquid content in filter cake, high unit output and small floor space.

Automatic Filter Press Advantages

Cake air blow is via the filtrate manifold, delivered to the chambers via high wear replaceable filtrate port. The cake discharge is fully automatic and designed for 24-hour operation in a harsh environment. The design of the filter chamber and separation of the cloth from the plate actuates cake discharge;any momentarily held cakes are dislodged by the cloth drop mechanism. Any residual sticking filter cakes are sensed by the cloth hanger bar resting on the vibrator tube. This condition actuates a vibration frequency designed to discharge all remaining cakes. 

After each cake discharge cycle, the automatic filter press starts to wash the cloth quickly. While cloth washing takes only 30 seconds, it is one of the keys to economical, consistently high-volume filter press operations. The automatic filter press offers the most advanced automation available, from fully automatic plate shifting and cloth washing to PLC controls and a full complement of ancillary processing and cake handling systems.
