Product Description
The membrane filter press has differences compared with the general filter press. The membrane filter press consists of a diaphragm filter plate and chamber filter plate in order. They have a chamber that can be inflated. And the common method is compressed air or high-pressure water. The filter cake is secondarily squeezed, so that, they can reduce the cake's moisture content, shorten the filtration cycle time and decrease the running cost. Widely used for various industries. Especially suitable for materials that are difficult to be filtered.
Operating principle of filter press machine:
While operating, the pushing device drives the head plate to press the filter plates and filter clothes between the head plate and the end plate. Then the filter chambers are formed among filter plates. Materials that are pressured by the pump get into filter chambers through the feeding port in the end plate. Solid particles are blocked in the filter chamber and form filter cakes, while the liquid is discharged out of the machine through filter clothes.
