Features of Manual Filter Machine

Operation of Filter Press
1. Pressing: Push pressing handles, through the lead screw to pull the filter plate forward until the handle cannot turn around. If there is any leakage of slurry, please tighten once again until compacting.
2. Filtration: Open the valves of the feed port to feed, it must ensure that the feeding pressure is not more than the pressure on the nameplate. Under the pressure, the slurry is filtered through filter cloths, then the filtrate will be discharged.
3. Releasing: After the filtration of the slurry is completed, firstly use the pinch bar to release in advance, then pull the handles until it can discharge the cakes, until now one working cycle is finished.
Maintenance of Filter Press
The maintenance of the filter press is very important, it must pay attention to the following aspects:
1. Carefully check at any moment whether all joints are reliable and whether all components work well. If any abnormal situation is found, urgently inform the maintainers to check and repair.
2. Regularly check the sealing edges of filter plates to ensure smoothness and cleanness before pressing.
3. Frequently wash the filter cloth and carefully check the filter cloth to ensure it is without fold, damage, and slag to keep it flat and in good condition, so as to guarantee the filtration performance.
