Introduction of Cast Iron Filter Press
Cast iron filter press machine is made of high quality cast iron or nodular cast iron. There are two kinds of filter plates to choose: Cast iron chamber plate or cast iron frame plate. The former is an upgraded version of the latter, which is more convenient and labor-saving.


Structure and Operating Principle of Cast Iron Filter Press
1.Filter press consist of frame, filter plate, pressing system (manual, mechanical or hydraulic ) and electric control cabinet .
2.Filter plates are made of cast iron, and installed on beam between tail plate and push plate.
3.In operation, after filter cloth installation, cast iron filter plate is closed to form the filter chamber that is driven by closing device. Material is pumper into the filter chamber. The solid will be blocked by filter cloth, and the liquid is discharged through filter cloth. Stop feed pump and open filter plate, the filter cakes are discharged.
4.Liquid flow of cast iron filter press can be divided into open flow (open filtrate) and closed filtrate (undercurrent flow). Open filtrate refers to that the filtrate is discharged directly from tap of every filter plate; Closed filtrate refers to that the filtrate from every chamber is collected and discharged out of the chamber together by a liquid outlet.
