Screw Filter Press
Screw filter press, also known as the spiral stack sludge dewatering machine, is a new type of sludge dewatering equipment. It achieves sludge concentration, dehydration and self-cleaning through the rotation of the spiral shaft and the filtering effect of the stacked structure. The spiral stacker has a compact design, small footprint, low energy consumption, high efficiency and high degree of automation.

Working Principle
The working principle is mainly divided into 3 parts: Concentration, dehydration and self-cleaning.

Self-cleaning
When the spiral driving shaft rotates, the multiple fixed and movable laminations arranged on the periphery of the driving shaft move relatively. Under the action of gravity, the water in the sludge is filtered out from the gaps between the laminations to achieve rapid concentration.
The concentrated sludge continues to move forward under the push of the spiral shaft. As the pitch of the spiral shaft gradually decreases, the gap between the rings also gradually decreases, and the volume of the spiral cavity continues to shrink. Under the action of the back pressure plate at the outlet, the water in the sludge is further squeezed out, the solid content of the filter cake gradually increases, and finally the continuous dehydration of the sludge is achieved.
The rotation of the spiral shaft drives the floating ring to rotate continuously, and the equipment relies on the relative movement between the fixed ring and the floating ring to achieve a continuous self-cleaning process. This design cleverly avoids the clogging problem that is common in traditional dehydrators.
