Details of Automatic Filter Press
1.Beam
Main beam is made by best carbon steel.
2.Pistons are made of steel #45 after specially processed for surface to get better anti-wearing and high hardness performance.
3.Filter cloth
Various kinds of filter cloth which suit for different kinds of slurry. The highest filtration accuracy can be 2 micron.
4.Oil cylinder
With features of small size, large pressure and good sealing performance, the position of installation position can be freely chosen.
It is easy and accurate to control.
5.Anti-corrosion treatment:
Anti-corrosion treatment can be made according to the client's requirements or the feed's PH: the frame can be covered by SS, PP material, and sand blasting treatment.
6.PLC/Electric control cabinet
We purchased PLC automatic control system from Siemens and Omron. This system adapts program control, reliable and convenient, and it is easy to operate and repair. In the operation, it can ensure filter press, oil cylinder, hydraulic system, squeezing system and plate shifter work normally and orderly.
The electric cabinet for filter press is also made by our own, with good performance and easy to operate.
Operating Principle of Automatic Filter Press
While operating, the pushing device drives the head plate to press the filter plates and filter clothes between head plate and end plate.Then the filter chambers are formed among filter plates. Materials which are pressure by pump get into filter chambers through the feeding port in end plate. Solid particles are blocked in filter chamber and form filter cakes, while liquid is discharged out of machine through filter clothes.

Maintenance of Filter Press
The maintenance of filter press is very important, it must pay attention to the following aspects:
1.Carefully check at any moment whether all joints are reliable, and whether all components work well. If any abnormal situation is found, urgently inform the maintainers to check and repair.
2.Regularly check the sealing edges of filter plates to ensure the smoothness and cleanness before pressing.
3.Frequently wash the filter cloth and carefully check the filter cloth to ensure it without fold, damage and slag to keep it flat and in good condition, so as to guarantee the filtration performance.
